Job Responsibilities

• Teach Science to middle school students in accordance with the prescribed curriculum and academic standards.
• Prepare comprehensive lesson plans, teaching materials, worksheets, assignments, projects, practical activities, and assessments.
• Deliver engaging, activity-based, and student-centred classroom instruction using modern teaching methodologies and digital learning tools.
• Teach core concepts of Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Environmental Science as per the assigned curriculum.
• Conduct laboratory experiments and practical demonstrations while ensuring safety protocols are followed.
• Foster scientific inquiry, observation, experimentation, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills among students.
• Conduct regular assessments, evaluate student performance, and provide timely feedback to support continuous academic improvement.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, practical work, academic progress, and classroom documentation.
• Create a disciplined, inclusive, and motivating classroom environment that encourages active participation and effective learning.
• Encourage students to participate in science exhibitions, quizzes, Olympiads, innovation projects, and other academic competitions.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding students' academic progress and overall development.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and school management to implement academic programmes and institutional initiatives.
• Participate actively in examinations, faculty meetings, workshops, training programmes, school events, and co-curricular activities.
• Perform additional academic and administrative responsibilities assigned by the school management.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Environmental Science at the secondary level.
• Ability to explain scientific concepts through practical demonstrations, experiments, and real-life applications.
• Excellent classroom management and student engagement skills.
• Proficiency in lesson planning, laboratory management, curriculum implementation, and student assessment.
• Familiarity with smart classroom technology, digital learning platforms, and modern pedagogical practices.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi.
• Strong organisational, interpersonal, and time management abilities.
• Professional attitude with a commitment to academic excellence and scientific learning.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor's Degree in Science or the relevant discipline from a recognised university.
• B.Ed. is mandatory.
• CTET, STET, or other relevant teaching qualifications will be preferred.

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of relevant teaching experience as a TGT Science Teacher in a recognised school.

Salary & Benefits

• Salary: ₹28,000 – ₹45,000 per month, depending on qualifications and experience.
