Job Responsibilities

• Teach and care for pre-primary students using age-appropriate and activity-based teaching methodologies.
• Prepare creative lesson plans, teaching aids, worksheets, and classroom activities aligned with the early years curriculum.
• Develop children's foundational skills in language, numeracy, communication, creativity, and social interaction.
• Foster a warm, safe, and stimulating classroom environment that supports holistic child development.
• Organise storytelling, rhymes, music, art and craft, games, and other experiential learning activities.
• Monitor students' academic, emotional, behavioural, and physical development, and provide regular feedback to parents.
• Maintain classroom discipline while encouraging confidence, curiosity, and independent learning.
• Ensure the safety, hygiene, and well-being of children throughout the school day.
• Maintain attendance records, student portfolios, progress reports, and classroom documentation.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and school management to organise celebrations, events, and co-curricular activities.
• Participate in staff meetings, workshops, training programmes, and other school initiatives.
• Perform additional academic and administrative responsibilities assigned by the school management.

Required Skills

• Sound understanding of early childhood education and child development.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English and Hindi.
• Ability to create a joyful, engaging, and child-friendly learning environment.
• Creativity in conducting classroom activities, storytelling, music, and art-based learning.
• Strong classroom management, patience, empathy, and organisational skills.
• Familiarity with modern teaching aids and digital learning tools is an added advantage.
• Professional attitude with a genuine passion for nurturing young children.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor's Degree from a recognised university.
• NTT (Nursery Teacher Training) or an equivalent early childhood education qualification is preferred.
• Additional certifications in Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) or related fields will be an added advantage.

Experience

• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience as a Pre-Primary or Nursery Teacher in a recognised school or preschool.

Salary & Benefits

• Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹30,000 per month, depending on qualifications and experience.
• Benefits and other facilities will be provided as per the school's policies.
