Job Responsibilities
- Teach Mathematics or English to primary school students in accordance with the prescribed curriculum and academic standards.
- Prepare comprehensive lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, teaching aids, projects, and classroom activities.
- Deliver engaging, interactive, and activity-based lessons using child-centred and technology-enabled teaching methodologies.
- Develop students' conceptual understanding, communication skills, logical reasoning, creativity, and problem-solving abilities.
- Conduct regular assessments, evaluate student performance, and provide constructive feedback to support continuous learning.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, academic progress, and classroom documentation.
- Create a safe, disciplined, inclusive, and encouraging classroom environment that promotes confidence and active participation.
- Encourage students to participate in classroom discussions, projects, competitions, and co-curricular activities.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding students' academic progress, behaviour, and overall development.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and school leadership to implement academic programmes and institutional initiatives.
- Participate actively in faculty meetings, examinations, workshops, school events, training programmes, and co-curricular activities.
- Perform additional academic and administrative responsibilities assigned by the school from time to time.
Required Skills
Primary Teacher – Mathematics
- Strong understanding of primary-level Mathematics, including arithmetic, geometry, measurement, and logical reasoning.
- Ability to simplify mathematical concepts through practical examples, activities, and interactive teaching methods.
- Expertise in developing students' analytical thinking and numerical skills.
Primary Teacher – English
- Excellent command of English language, grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, phonics, and communication skills.
- Ability to develop students' language proficiency through storytelling, creative writing, reading activities, and interactive classroom practices.
- Passion for fostering strong communication and comprehension skills among young learners.
General Skills
- Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi.
- Strong classroom management and student engagement abilities.
- Proficiency in lesson planning, curriculum implementation, and student assessment.
- Familiarity with digital teaching tools, smart classroom technology, and modern pedagogical practices.
- Strong organisational, interpersonal, and time management skills.
- Professional attitude with a commitment to nurturing young learners and promoting academic excellence.
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree from a recognised university.
- D.El.Ed. is mandatory.
- CTET/STET qualification will be preferred.
Experience
- Minimum 3 years of relevant teaching experience in a recognised primary school.
Salary & Benefits
- Salary: ₹25,000 – ₹36,000 per month, depending on qualifications and experience.
