Job Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the academic and administrative activities of the Primary Section.
• Monitor curriculum planning, lesson plans, classroom instruction, and assessment practices to ensure quality education.
• Guide, mentor, and support primary teachers in implementing effective teaching methodologies and classroom management strategies.
• Conduct regular classroom observations and provide constructive feedback to enhance teaching effectiveness.
• Ensure smooth implementation of the school's academic calendar, examinations, co-curricular activities, and educational programmes.
• Monitor student learning outcomes, attendance, discipline, and overall academic progress.
• Coordinate parent-teacher meetings and maintain effective communication with parents regarding student development.
• Plan and organise teacher training sessions, workshops, orientation programmes, and professional development initiatives.
• Maintain academic records, reports, timetables, documentation, and compliance with school policies and educational standards.
• Promote a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment that supports the holistic development of students.
• Collaborate with the Principal, management, and other coordinators to achieve institutional goals and maintain academic excellence.
• Participate actively in school events, inspections, meetings, workshops, and other institutional activities.
• Perform additional academic and administrative responsibilities assigned by the school management.

Required Skills

• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent understanding of primary education, child-centred pedagogy, and curriculum planning.
• Outstanding classroom observation, mentoring, and teacher development skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English and Hindi.
• Proficiency in lesson planning, assessment strategies, and academic monitoring.
• Familiarity with smart classroom technology, digital learning platforms, and school ERP systems.
• Strong organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and school leadership.
• Professional attitude with a commitment to academic excellence and continuous improvement.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor's Degree from a recognised university.
• B.Ed. is mandatory.
• CTET/STET qualification will be preferred.

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of teaching and academic coordination experience in a recognised school, preferably in the Primary Section.

Salary & Benefits

• Salary: ₹30,000 – ₹45,000 per month, depending on qualifications and experience.
