Job Responsibilities

• Teach Mathematics and Logical Reasoning to middle and secondary school students in accordance with the prescribed curriculum and academic standards.
• Prepare comprehensive lesson plans, teaching materials, worksheets, assignments, projects, and assessment tools.
• Deliver engaging, concept-based, and technology-enabled classroom instruction using modern teaching methodologies.
• Develop students' mathematical concepts, quantitative aptitude, logical reasoning, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Prepare students for school examinations, Olympiads, aptitude tests, scholarship examinations, and competitive assessments.
• Conduct regular assessments, evaluate student performance, and provide constructive feedback for continuous academic improvement.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, academic progress, and classroom documentation.
• Create a disciplined, inclusive, and motivating classroom environment that encourages curiosity, confidence, and active participation.
• Integrate practical examples, mathematical activities, puzzles, and reasoning exercises to make learning engaging and application-oriented.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding students' academic progress and overall development.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and school leadership to implement academic programmes and institutional initiatives.
• Participate actively in examinations, faculty meetings, workshops, training programmes, school events, and co-curricular activities.
• Perform additional academic and administrative responsibilities assigned by the school management.

Required Skills

• Strong command of Mathematics, Quantitative Aptitude, Logical Reasoning, and Analytical Thinking.
• Ability to simplify complex mathematical concepts through practical examples and activity-based learning.
• Experience in preparing students for Olympiads, scholarship examinations, and aptitude-based competitions will be an added advantage.
• Excellent classroom management and student engagement skills.
• Strong lesson planning, curriculum implementation, and assessment abilities.
• Proficiency in digital teaching tools, smart classroom technology, and modern pedagogical practices.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi.
• Strong organisational, interpersonal, mentoring, and time management skills.
• Professional attitude with a commitment to academic excellence and student success.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics or a relevant discipline from a recognised university.
• B.Ed. is mandatory.
• CTET/STET qualification will be preferred.

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of relevant teaching experience as a TGT Mathematics Teacher in a recognised school.

Salary & Benefits

• Salary: ₹35,000 – ₹45,000 per month, depending on qualifications and experience.
