Job Responsibilities

• Teach Computer Science or Social Science to primary school students in accordance with the prescribed curriculum and academic standards.
• Prepare detailed lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, projects, teaching aids, and classroom activities.
• Deliver interactive, activity-based, and technology-enabled lessons using child-centred teaching methodologies.
• Develop students' conceptual understanding, digital literacy, critical thinking, communication, creativity, and problem-solving abilities.
• For Computer, teach basic computer operations, MS Office, internet safety, coding fundamentals, and digital skills appropriate for the primary level.
• For Social Science, introduce students to history, geography, civics, environmental awareness, and cultural values through engaging classroom activities.
• Conduct regular assessments, evaluate student performance, and provide constructive feedback for continuous academic improvement.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, academic progress, and classroom documentation.
• Create a safe, disciplined, inclusive, and encouraging classroom environment that promotes active learning and holistic development.
• Encourage participation in subject-related projects, exhibitions, quizzes, digital learning activities, and co-curricular programmes.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding students' academic progress and overall development.
• Participate actively in examinations, faculty meetings, workshops, school events, training programmes, and other institutional activities.
• Perform additional academic and administrative responsibilities assigned by the school management.

Required Skills

PRT Computer Teacher

• Strong knowledge of computer fundamentals, MS Office, internet applications, digital literacy, and basic coding concepts.
• Ability to teach technology through practical demonstrations and interactive learning activities.
• Familiarity with smart classroom technology and educational software.

PRT Social Science Teacher

• Sound understanding of primary-level History, Geography, Civics, and Environmental Studies.
• Ability to make social science concepts engaging through storytelling, maps, projects, activities, and real-life examples.
• Strong skills in developing students' awareness of society, culture, and the environment.

General Skills

• Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi.
• Strong classroom management and student engagement abilities.
• Proficiency in lesson planning, curriculum implementation, and student assessment.
• Strong organisational, interpersonal, and time management skills.
• Professional attitude with a commitment to nurturing young learners and promoting academic excellence.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor's Degree in the relevant discipline from a recognised university.
• D.El.Ed. is mandatory.
• STET or other relevant teaching qualifications will be preferred.

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of relevant teaching experience in a recognised primary school.

Salary & Benefits

• Salary: ₹24,000 – ₹34,000 per month, depending on qualifications and experience.
