Job Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct structured cricket coaching sessions for students across different age groups and skill levels.
• Train students in batting, bowling, wicket-keeping, fielding, match strategies, and fitness conditioning.
• Identify talented players and provide advanced coaching for inter-school, district, state, and national-level competitions.
• Design and implement comprehensive training schedules, fitness programmes, and player development plans.
• Organise practice matches, cricket camps, talent identification programmes, and team selection trials.
• Develop students' technical skills, tactical awareness, leadership qualities, teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship.
• Monitor player performance, maintain training records, and provide individual guidance for continuous improvement.
• Ensure the proper maintenance and safe use of cricket grounds, pitches, practice nets, sports equipment, and training facilities.
• Coordinate with school management, physical education staff, parents, and tournament organisers regarding sports activities.
• Organise inter-house competitions, annual sports events, and cricket tournaments.
• Ensure compliance with sports safety standards and promote injury prevention during practice sessions and matches.
• Participate actively in school events, faculty meetings, workshops, sports programmes, and institutional activities.
• Perform additional sports-related and administrative responsibilities assigned by the school management.

Required Skills

• Strong technical knowledge of cricket coaching, player development, and match strategies.
• Expertise in batting, bowling, wicket-keeping, fielding techniques, and fitness training.
• Ability to mentor students and develop competitive cricket teams.
• Excellent leadership, motivational, and communication skills.
• Strong organisational, planning, and event management abilities.
• Knowledge of sports safety protocols, injury prevention, and basic first aid.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi.
• Professional attitude with a commitment to nurturing sporting talent and promoting holistic student development.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor's Degree from a recognised university.
• Certification, diploma, or professional qualification in Cricket Coaching, Sports Coaching, Physical Education, or a related field will be preferred.

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience as a Cricket Coach in a recognised school, sports academy, cricket club, or sports institution.

Salary & Benefits

• Salary: ₹25,000 – ₹50,000 per month, depending on qualifications and experience.
