Job Responsibilities

• Teach the assigned subject in accordance with the prescribed curriculum and academic standards.
• Prepare comprehensive lesson plans, teaching materials, worksheets, assignments, projects, and assessments.
• Deliver engaging and interactive classroom instruction using innovative, technology-enabled, and student-centred teaching methodologies.
• Develop students' conceptual understanding, communication skills, analytical thinking, logical reasoning, and problem-solving abilities.
• Conduct regular assessments, evaluate student performance, and provide constructive feedback for continuous academic improvement.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, academic progress, and classroom documentation.
• Create a disciplined, inclusive, and motivating classroom environment that promotes active participation and effective learning.
• Encourage students to participate in subject-related projects, debates, quizzes, exhibitions, Olympiads, and academic competitions.
• Integrate digital teaching tools and modern pedagogical practices into classroom instruction.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding students' academic progress and overall development.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and school leadership to implement academic programmes and school initiatives.
• Participate actively in examinations, faculty meetings, workshops, training programmes, school events, and co-curricular activities.
• Perform additional academic and administrative responsibilities assigned by the school from time to time.

Required Skills

English Teacher

• Excellent command of English language, grammar, literature, communication, reading, writing, and comprehension skills.
• Ability to develop students' language proficiency through creative and interactive teaching methods.

Geography Teacher

• Strong knowledge of physical geography, human geography, environmental studies, map work, and geographical information.
• Ability to make geographical concepts engaging through practical examples, field-based learning, and visual resources.

Sociology Teacher

• Sound understanding of sociological theories, social institutions, culture, contemporary social issues, and research methods.
• Ability to encourage critical thinking, discussion, and analytical learning.

History Teacher

• Strong knowledge of Indian and World History, historical events, heritage, and cultural studies.
• Ability to present historical concepts through storytelling, timelines, discussions, and project-based learning.

Mathematics Teacher

• Excellent command of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, statistics, and problem-solving techniques.
• Ability to simplify mathematical concepts and strengthen students' logical reasoning and quantitative aptitude.

General Skills

• Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi.
• Strong classroom management and student engagement abilities.
• Proficiency in lesson planning, curriculum implementation, and student assessment.
• Familiarity with smart classroom technology and modern teaching methodologies.
• Strong organisational, interpersonal, and time management skills.
• Professional attitude with a commitment to academic excellence and continuous professional development.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor's Degree in the relevant subject from a recognised university.
• B.Ed. is mandatory.
• CTET/STET qualification will be preferred.

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of relevant teaching experience in a recognised school.

Salary & Benefits

• Salary: ₹28,000 – ₹45,000 per month, depending on qualifications and experience.
