Job Responsibilities
- Teach Computer Science and Information Technology in accordance with the prescribed curriculum and academic standards.
- Prepare lesson plans, practical exercises, worksheets, projects, assignments, and assessments for students.
- Deliver engaging classroom instruction using modern teaching methodologies and digital learning tools.
- Teach computer fundamentals, MS Office applications, internet usage, digital literacy, programming basics, coding, database concepts, and emerging technologies as applicable to the assigned classes.
- Conduct practical sessions in the computer laboratory while ensuring the safe and effective use of computer systems and related equipment.
- Encourage logical thinking, computational skills, creativity, and problem-solving through hands-on learning activities.
- Evaluate students' academic performance through practical examinations, assignments, projects, and classroom assessments.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, practical work, and student progress.
- Ensure proper maintenance and responsible use of computer lab resources and software.
- Guide students in coding competitions, digital projects, IT exhibitions, and technology-related co-curricular activities.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and school management to integrate technology into classroom learning.
- Participate actively in faculty meetings, workshops, school events, training programmes, and other institutional activities.
- Perform additional academic and administrative responsibilities assigned by the school from time to time.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Computer Science, Information Technology, and digital education.
- Proficiency in MS Office, internet applications, computer hardware basics, and educational software.
- Basic knowledge of programming languages such as Python, C, C++, Java, or Scratch will be an added advantage.
- Ability to simplify technical concepts through practical demonstrations and interactive teaching methods.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi.
- Strong classroom management, organisational, and student engagement skills.
- Familiarity with smart classroom technology and digital teaching platforms.
- Professional attitude with a commitment to continuous learning and technological advancement.
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Applications, or a related discipline from a recognised university.
- Additional certifications in Computer Applications, Programming, Information Technology, or Digital Education will be preferred.
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of relevant teaching experience as a Computer Teacher or Computer Instructor in a recognised school or educational institution.
Salary & Benefits
- Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹35,000 per month, depending on qualifications and experience.
