Job Responsibilities

• Teach and guide primary-level students across multiple subjects in accordance with the school's curriculum and academic standards.
• Create a safe, caring, and stimulating classroom environment that supports the academic, emotional, and social development of children.
• Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, teaching aids, classroom activities, and learning resources using child-centred teaching methodologies.
• Develop foundational skills in English, Mathematics, Environmental Studies, General Knowledge, and life skills through interactive and activity-based learning.
• Monitor students' academic progress, classroom behaviour, and overall development while maintaining accurate records.
• Encourage discipline, good manners, confidence, teamwork, and positive values among students.
• Conduct storytelling sessions, creative activities, educational games, art and craft, and other engaging classroom experiences.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding students' learning progress, behaviour, and developmental milestones.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and school management to ensure the smooth implementation of academic programmes and school activities.
• Participate actively in parent-teacher meetings, faculty meetings, school events, training programmes, and co-curricular activities.
• Ensure the safety, well-being, and emotional support of students throughout the school day.
• Perform additional academic and administrative responsibilities assigned by the school from time to time.

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of child development and primary education methodologies.
• Excellent classroom management and student engagement skills.
• Ability to create interactive, activity-based, and joyful learning experiences.
• Good communication skills in English and Hindi.
• Patience, empathy, and the ability to build positive relationships with young learners.
• Creativity in planning classroom activities and educational resources.
• Strong organisational, interpersonal, and time management skills.
• Basic knowledge of digital teaching tools and educational technology will be an added advantage.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor's Degree from a recognised university.
• Nursery Teacher Training (NTT) is mandatory.
• Additional qualifications in Early Childhood Education or Primary Teacher Training will be an added advantage.

Experience

• Minimum 1 year of teaching experience in a recognised preschool, kindergarten, or primary school.

Salary & Benefits

• Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹30,000 per month, depending on qualifications and experience.
• Benefits and other facilities will be provided as per the school's policies.
