Job Responsibilities

• Teach the assigned subject to primary school students in accordance with the prescribed curriculum and academic standards.
• Prepare detailed lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, classroom activities, projects, and assessments.
• Deliver engaging, activity-based, and student-centred lessons using innovative teaching methodologies and digital learning tools.
• Develop students' conceptual understanding, critical thinking, communication, analytical reasoning, and problem-solving abilities.
• Conduct regular assessments, evaluate student performance, and provide timely feedback for continuous academic improvement.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, academic progress, and classroom documentation.
• Create a safe, disciplined, inclusive, and motivating classroom environment that promotes active participation and confidence.
• Encourage students to participate in subject-related projects, quizzes, exhibitions, and co-curricular activities.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding students' academic progress, behaviour, and overall development.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and school management to ensure effective implementation of academic programmes.
• Participate actively in faculty meetings, workshops, training programmes, school functions, examinations, and other institutional activities.
• Perform additional academic and administrative responsibilities assigned by the school from time to time.

Required Skills

PRT Mathematics

• Strong understanding of primary-level mathematics, including arithmetic, geometry, measurement, data handling, and logical reasoning.
• Ability to simplify mathematical concepts through practical examples, activities, and interactive teaching methods.
• Skill in developing students' numerical ability and problem-solving skills.

PRT Social Science

• Sound knowledge of Environmental Studies (EVS),basic History, Geography, Civics, and Social Studies concepts taught at the primary level.
• Ability to make learning engaging through storytelling, maps, models, projects, field-based activities, and discussions.
• Passion for developing students' awareness of society, culture, environment, and civic responsibility.

General Skills

• Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi.
• Strong classroom management and student engagement abilities.
• Proficiency in lesson planning, curriculum implementation, and student assessment.
• Familiarity with smart classroom technology and modern teaching methodologies.
• Strong organisational, interpersonal, and time management skills.
• Professional attitude with a commitment to nurturing young learners and promoting academic excellence.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor's Degree from a recognised university.
• D.El.Ed. is mandatory.
• Additional qualifications in Elementary Education or Primary Teacher Training will be an added advantage.

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of relevant teaching experience in a recognised primary school.

Salary & Benefits

• Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹35,000 per month, depending on qualifications and experience.
