HIRING: DANCE, MUSIC, ART & YOGA TEACHERS

BHARATHIDHASANAR GROUP OF SCHOOLS is inviting applications for the positions of Dance Teacher, Music Teacher, Art Teacher, and Yoga Teacher at our campus in Tamil Nadu Housing Board, Arakkonam, Tamil Nadu – 631003.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct engaging Dance, Music, Art, or Yoga classes for students across different grade levels.
• Prepare lesson plans, activity schedules, performances, exhibitions, workshops, and practical learning sessions.
• Encourage creativity, physical fitness, discipline, confidence, and holistic development through activity-based learning.
• Train students for cultural programs, annual functions, assemblies, competitions, exhibitions, and wellness initiatives.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance their skills and overall development.
• Maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment while ensuring classroom discipline.
• Coordinate with school management, colleagues, and parents to support students' co-curricular growth.
• Participate actively in school events, meetings, training sessions, and other academic and extracurricular activities.

Requirements

• Punctual, responsible, and professional attitude.
• Good communication skills in English and Hindi (knowledge of Tamil will be an added advantage).
• Dance Teacher: Expertise in one or more dance forms with strong choreography and performance skills.
• Music Teacher: Proficiency in vocal and/or instrumental music, rhythm, music theory, and performance techniques.
• Art Teacher: Strong skills in drawing, painting, sketching, craft work, creative design, and visual arts.
• Yoga Teacher: Sound knowledge of yoga postures (asanas),breathing techniques (pranayama),meditation, flexibility training, and student wellness practices.
• Ability to use innovative teaching methods and organize student performances, exhibitions, and wellness activities.
• Willingness to attend the interview, practical demonstration, and probation period.

Qualification & Experience

• Minimum Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in the relevant field.
• Professional Qualification: Relevant certifications or specialized training in Dance, Music, Fine Arts, or Yoga will be an added advantage.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant teaching experience.

Salary & Benefits

• Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹40,000 per month (based on qualification and experience).
• Benefits as per school policy.
