HIRING: PGT HISTORY

SETH M.R. JAIPURIA SCHOOL GONDA is inviting applications for the position of Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) – History at our campus in Faizabad Road, Ummed Jot, Uttar Pradesh – 271123.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach History to Senior Secondary students in accordance with the prescribed curriculum and academic standards.
• Prepare comprehensive lesson plans, assignments, worksheets, assessments, and project-based learning activities.
• Develop students' understanding of Ancient, Medieval, Modern Indian History, World History, Political History, Cultural Heritage, and Historiography.
• Encourage critical thinking, historical inquiry, research skills, source analysis, and analytical interpretation of historical events.
• Assess student performance, maintain academic records, and provide timely academic guidance and constructive feedback.
• Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive, inclusive, and student-centered learning environment.
• Integrate smart classroom technology, Learning Management Systems (LMS), digital resources, and innovative teaching methodologies into classroom instruction.
• Coordinate with school management, colleagues, and parents to support students' academic and holistic development.
• Participate in school events, examinations, faculty meetings, professional development programs, and co-curricular activities.

Requirements

• Punctual, responsible, and professional attitude.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi.
• Strong expertise in Indian History, World History, Political History, Historical Research, Cultural Studies, Archaeology, and historical source interpretation.
• Ability to conduct engaging discussions, debates, presentations, and project-based learning activities.
• Proficiency in smart classroom technology, MS Office, LMS platforms, and digital teaching tools.
• Willingness to attend the interview, teaching demonstration, and probation period.

Qualification & Experience

• Minimum Qualification: Master's Degree in History or a relevant discipline.
• Professional Qualification: B.Ed. (Mandatory). M.Ed. qualification will be preferred.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of teaching experience as a PGT History teacher.

Salary & Benefits

• Salary: ₹40,000 – ₹60,000 per month (based on qualification and experience).
• Benefits as per school policy.
