HIRING: CLASSICAL DANCE TEACHER
J S PUBLIC SCHOOL is inviting applications for the position of Classical Dance Teacher at our campus in Lachhi Rampur, Uttar Pradesh – 221201.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Classical Dance to students across different grade levels in accordance with the school's co-curricular curriculum.
- Train students in Bharatanatyam, Kathak, Odissi, Kuchipudi, Mohiniyattam, Manipuri, or other recognized Indian classical dance forms based on expertise.
- Prepare lesson plans, choreography, practice schedules, and performance routines for school programs and competitions.
- Develop students' skills in rhythm, expressions (Abhinaya),body posture, footwork, hand gestures (Mudras),coordination, and stage performance.
- Organize and supervise rehearsals for annual functions, cultural festivals, competitions, and inter-school events.
- Assess students' progress, encourage creativity, and provide individual guidance to enhance performance.
- Maintain discipline during practice sessions and ensure the proper care of costumes, props, and music resources.
- Coordinate with school management, teachers, and parents to support students' artistic and cultural development.
- Participate in school events, faculty meetings, workshops, and other institutional activities as required.
Requirements
- Punctual, creative, responsible, and professional attitude.
- Good communication skills in English and Hindi.
- Strong expertise in Indian Classical Dance techniques, choreography, rhythm (Taal),expressions (Abhinaya),Mudras, stage presentation, and performance training.
- Ability to inspire students and conduct engaging, age-appropriate dance sessions.
- Knowledge of music coordination, costume planning, and event management will be an added advantage.
- Willingness to attend the interview, practical dance demonstration, and probation period.
Qualification & Experience
- Minimum Qualification: Bachelor's Degree.
- Professional Qualification: Degree/Diploma/Certification in Classical Dance from a recognized institution will be preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience as a Classical Dance Teacher.
Salary & Benefits
- Salary: ₹25,000 – ₹50,000 per month (based on qualification and experience).
- Benefits as per school policy.
