HIRING: MUSIC TEACHER
CHRIST SCHOOL is inviting applications for the position of Music Teacher at our campus in S.G. Palya, Bengaluru, Karnataka – 560029.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Music to students across different grade levels in accordance with the school's curriculum and co-curricular program.
- Plan and conduct engaging lessons in vocal and/or instrumental music, music theory, rhythm, melody, harmony, and performance techniques.
- Develop students' musical abilities through singing, instrument training, ear training, composition, and appreciation of different musical styles.
- Prepare students for school assemblies, annual functions, cultural events, competitions, choir performances, and inter-school music festivals.
- Organize rehearsals, music clubs, and performance activities while encouraging creativity and confidence.
- Assess student progress, maintain performance records, and provide constructive feedback to students and parents.
- Ensure the proper use, maintenance, and care of musical instruments, audio equipment, and music resources.
- Integrate digital music tools and innovative teaching methodologies into classroom instruction.
- Coordinate with school management, colleagues, and parents to support students' artistic and holistic development.
- Participate in school events, faculty meetings, training programs, and other institutional activities.
Requirements
- Punctual, responsible, creative, and professional attitude.
- Good communication skills in English and Hindi (knowledge of Kannada will be an added advantage).
- Strong expertise in vocal music, instrumental music, music theory, rhythm, choir training, stage performance, and music composition.
- Ability to conduct engaging practical sessions and prepare students for performances and competitions.
- Proficiency in digital music tools, smart classroom technology, MS Office, and audio-visual equipment will be an added advantage.
- Willingness to attend the interview, practical demonstration, and probation period.
Qualification & Experience
- Minimum Qualification: Bachelor's Degree.
- Professional Qualification: Degree, Diploma, or Certification in Music (Vocal/Instrumental) from a recognized institution will be preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience as a Music Teacher.
Salary & Benefits
- Salary: ₹25,000 – ₹40,000 per month (based on qualification and experience).
- Benefits as per school policy.
