HIRING: PGT COMPUTER SCIENCE & PGT CHEMISTRY

St. Columbo Public School is inviting applications for the positions of Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) – Computer Science and Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) – Chemistry at our campus in New Delhi – 110034.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach the assigned subject in accordance with the prescribed curriculum and academic standards.
• Prepare comprehensive lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, practical sessions, assessments, and project-based learning activities.
• Deliver engaging classroom instruction using modern teaching methodologies and technology-integrated learning.
• Assess student performance, maintain academic records, and provide timely academic guidance and constructive feedback.
• Maintain classroom discipline and foster a positive, inclusive, and student-centered learning environment.
• Integrate smart classroom technology, Learning Management Systems (LMS),and digital teaching tools into classroom instruction.
• Coordinate with school management, colleagues, and parents to support students' academic and overall development.
• Participate in school events, examinations, faculty meetings, teacher training programs, and co-curricular activities.

Requirements

• Punctual, responsible, and professional attitude.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi.

For PGT Computer Science:

• Strong expertise in Python, Java/C++, Data Structures, Database Management (SQL),Computer Networks, Operating Systems, Artificial Intelligence, Cyber Security, Programming Logic, and CBSE Computer Science curriculum.
• Ability to conduct theory as well as practical computer laboratory sessions.

For PGT Chemistry:

• Strong expertise in Organic, Inorganic, and Physical Chemistry, Laboratory Techniques, Chemical Reactions, Analytical Chemistry, Practical Experiments, and CBSE Chemistry curriculum.
• Ability to conduct laboratory experiments while ensuring safety standards and scientific accuracy.
• Proficiency in MS Office, Google Workspace, LMS platforms, smart classroom technology, and digital educational tools.
• Willingness to attend the interview, teaching demonstration, and probation period.

Qualification & Experience

• Minimum Qualification: Master's Degree in the relevant subject.
• Professional Qualification:B.Ed. (Mandatory). M.Ed. qualification will be preferred.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of teaching experience as a PGT in the respective subject.

Salary & Benefits

• Salary: ₹40,000 – ₹65,000 per month (based on qualification and experience).
• Benefits as per school policy.
