Job Description – Physical Education Teacher

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Physical Education Teacher to join our CBSE residential school.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and conduct physical education and sports classes for students.

Train and coach students in various indoor and outdoor sports.

Organize sports activities, competitions, tournaments, and physical fitness programs.

Develop students' physical fitness, discipline, teamwork, and sportsmanship.

Identify and encourage talented students to participate in inter-school and district-level competitions.

Maintain sports equipment, grounds, and related records.

Ensure the safety and discipline of students during sports and physical activities.

Support the school in organizing annual sports day and other extracurricular activities.

Participate in school events, student supervision, and other assigned responsibilities.

Requirements:

M.P.Ed qualification is required/preferred.

Relevant teaching/coaching experience will be an advantage.

Good communication, leadership, and student-management skills.

Passion for sports and physical fitness.

Ability to work effectively in a residential school environment.
