About the Role
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Economics Teacher to teach Economics and Commerce to students in Classes 11–12. The role involves delivering high-quality, engaging instruction that develops students' understanding of economic concepts and their practical application.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver structured lessons in Economics and Commerce aligned with the school curriculum.
Develop students' critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills through discussions, case studies, and practical examples.
Introduce students to local and global economic developments and their social implications.
Connect classroom concepts with real-world economic situations and contemporary issues.
Create an engaging and inclusive learning environment that encourages curiosity, questioning, and independent thinking.
Assess student learning through assignments, projects, presentations, and examinations.
Provide constructive feedback and support students in achieving their academic potential.
Contribute to curriculum planning and academic development of the school.
Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Commerce, or a related discipline.
Minimum 3 years of relevant teaching experience.
Experience teaching Classes 11–12 preferred.
Strong subject knowledge and communication skills.
Ability to make complex economic concepts accessible and engaging for students.
