Gargi Public School is looking for a dedicated, enthusiastic, and responsible Primary Teacher who can create an engaging learning environment and support the academic, social, emotional, and overall development of students. The ideal candidate should be passionate about teaching and capable of making classroom learning interactive, meaningful, and enjoyable.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver effective lessons according to the school curriculum.
- Teach core subjects such as English, Mathematics, EVS, Hindi, and General Awareness as assigned.
- Use activity-based, experiential, and technology-supported teaching methods.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, projects, and classroom activities.
- Assess students regularly and maintain accurate academic records.
- Identify individual learning needs and provide appropriate support.
- Encourage students to participate actively in classroom discussions and activities.
- Develop students' communication, problem-solving, creativity, and critical-thinking skills.
- Maintain a positive, disciplined, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Monitor students' academic performance, behaviour, attendance, and overall development.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and areas requiring attention.
- Participate in PTMs, school events, assemblies, workshops, competitions, and co-curricular activities.
- Collaborate with other teachers and school staff to improve student learning.
- Ensure compliance with school policies, academic standards, and child-safety practices.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate degree in the relevant field.
- B.Ed / D.El.Ed / equivalent teaching qualification preferred or as required by applicable norms.
- Strong command of English and/or the subjects being taught.
- Basic computer and digital teaching skills.
Experience
- 1–3 years of primary teaching experience in a reputed school preferred.
- Freshers with strong communication skills and a genuine passion for teaching may also be considered.
