Job Description – Teacher

We are looking for a qualified, experienced, and passionate teacher to join our school. The selected candidate will be responsible for delivering effective classroom teaching, maintaining discipline, and supporting the overall academic development of students.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging lessons according to the school curriculum.

Maintain a positive, disciplined, and interactive classroom environment.

Assess students’ learning and monitor their academic progress.

Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and examination materials.

Provide individual attention and support to students when required.

Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and student performance.

Communicate professionally with parents regarding students’ progress.

Participate in school activities, meetings, examinations, and other academic events.

Collaborate with other teachers and school management.

Follow school policies, academic standards, and professional guidelines.

Requirements

Graduate/Postgraduate in the relevant subject.

B.Ed./D.El.Ed. or other relevant teaching qualification as applicable.

Strong communication and classroom management skills.

Good knowledge of the subject and teaching methodologies.

Basic computer skills.

Prior teaching experience will be preferred.
