Job Summary

We are looking for a passionate and qualified TGT Physics Teacher to teach Physics and General Science concepts to middle and high school students. The candidate should be able to make scientific concepts simple, engaging, and practical through effective teaching methods, activities, demonstrations, and experiments.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging Physics and Science lessons for middle and high school students.

Teach concepts according to the prescribed curriculum and academic requirements.

Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and assessment materials.

Conduct practical demonstrations, laboratory activities, and science experiments.

Develop students' conceptual understanding, problem-solving, and scientific thinking skills.

Regularly assess students through tests, assignments, classwork, and examinations.

Identify students who need additional support and provide appropriate academic guidance.

Maintain accurate academic records, student progress reports, and classroom documentation.

Encourage students to participate in science projects, exhibitions, quizzes, and competitions.

Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Communicate effectively with parents and coordinate with colleagues regarding student progress.

Participate actively in school events, meetings, training programmes, and other academic activities.

Use digital teaching tools and technology wherever appropriate to enhance learning.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Physics or a relevant Science discipline.

B.Ed. or equivalent teacher-training qualification preferred/required as per school norms.

Previous teaching experience in middle school and/or high school will be an advantage.

Good communication skills and strong subject knowledge.

Ability to handle students with patience, professionalism, and enthusiasm.

Strong command of Physics fundamentals.

Ability to explain complex concepts in a simple and practical manner.

Good classroom management skills.

Creative and activity-based teaching approach.

Basic proficiency in digital teaching tools and educational technology.
