PGT All Subjects – Job Description

Position: PGT (Post Graduate Teacher) – All Subjects

Job Responsibilities:

• Teach assigned subject(s) to Senior Secondary classes (XI–XII).
• Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, worksheets, and assessments.
• Deliver engaging, concept-based and student-centered lessons.
• Conduct regular tests, examinations, and evaluate students’ performance.
• Maintain proper academic records, attendance, and classroom discipline.
• Provide individual guidance and academic support to students.
• Prepare students for board examinations and competitive academic requirements.
• Participate in PTMs, staff meetings, school events, and academic activities.
• Coordinate with parents and school management regarding students’ progress.
• Follow CBSE/school curriculum, academic policies, and teaching standards.
• Contribute to co-curricular activities and overall development of students.

Eligibility:

• Post Graduation in the relevant subject.
• B.Ed. is mandatory/preferred.
• Strong subject knowledge and communication skills.
• Relevant teaching experience preferred.
• Good classroom management and lesson-planning skills.
• Familiarity with CBSE curriculum and assessment practices preferred.
