Position: School Nurse (Female Preferred) Location: HEAL School, Thotapalli, Eluru District, Andhra Pradesh Employment Type: Full-Time (Residential Preferred)
HEAL School is seeking a compassionate and qualified School Nurse to provide healthcare support to students, maintain a safe school environment, and respond effectively to medical emergencies.
Provide first aid and emergency medical care to students and staff.
Assess and manage minor illnesses and injuries on campus.
Maintain accurate student health records and medical documentation.
Administer prescribed medications according to school policy.
Monitor the health of residential students and report concerns.
Coordinate with parents, hospitals, and healthcare professionals when required.
Conduct health screenings and promote hygiene and wellness awareness.
Ensure the school clinic is well-stocked with medicines and medical supplies.
Maintain confidentiality of student medical information.
GNM or B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized institution.
Valid registration with the State Nursing Council.
Basic Life Support (BLS) / First Aid certification is an added advantage.
1–2 years of nursing experience preferred.
Experience in school, pediatric, or community healthcare is desirable.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to remain calm during emergencies.
Proficiency in maintaining medical records and basic computer skills.
