Position: System Administrator (IT)

Salary: ₹28,000 per month
About the Role
We are looking for a technically sound and reliable System Administrator to manage and maintain the school's IT infrastructure, computer systems, network, and technical support requirements. The candidate should be capable of troubleshooting hardware, software, networking, and system-related issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain computers, laptops, printers, servers, and other IT equipment.
- Install, configure, and maintain operating systems and software applications.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues.
- Monitor and maintain the school's LAN/Wi-Fi network and internet connectivity.
- Provide technical support to teachers, administrative staff, and management.
- Manage user accounts, system access, passwords, and permissions.
- Ensure regular system updates, backups, antivirus, and security measures.
- Maintain IT assets, inventory, and records.
- Support smart classrooms, projectors, interactive panels, CCTV, and other digital systems.
- Coordinate with external IT vendors/service providers when required.
- Identify and resolve technical issues promptly to minimize disruption.
- Ensure data security and follow IT policies and procedures.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Graduate/Diploma in Computer Science, IT, or a relevant technical field.
- Relevant experience as a System Administrator / IT Support / IT Executive.
- Strong knowledge of Windows OS, computer hardware, software, and networking.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Basic knowledge of LAN, Wi-Fi, routers, switches, printers, and network security.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple technical issues efficiently.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working in a school/educational institution is preferred.
- Knowledge of CCTV, biometric attendance systems, smart boards, and school management software.
- Ability to provide quick and effective technical support.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach.
