Position: High School Social Science Teacher
Location: Hyderabad
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: ₹28,000 – ₹30,000 per month
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated High School Social Science Teacher with strong subject knowledge and excellent communication skills. The candidate should be able to create engaging, interactive, and student-centred learning experiences.
Plan and deliver engaging Social Science lessons according to the school curriculum.
Teach subjects such as History, Geography, Civics, and Economics as applicable.
Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, activities, projects, and assessments.
Encourage students to develop critical thinking, analytical skills, and awareness of current affairs.
Use interactive, activity-based, and inquiry-based teaching methods.
Assess and monitor students' academic progress regularly.
Provide additional support and guidance to students when required.
Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive learning environment.
Communicate students' progress with parents and school management.
Maintain accurate academic and assessment records.
Participate in school events, meetings, workshops, and other academic activities.
Use digital tools and multimedia resources to enhance classroom learning.
Graduate/Postgraduate in Social Science, History, Geography, Political Science, Economics, or a relevant subject.
B.Ed. is mandatory/preferred.
Relevant experience teaching Social Science at the high school level.
Strong subject knowledge and excellent English communication skills.
Good classroom management and interpersonal skills.
Ability to create engaging and student-friendly lessons.
Passion for teaching and supporting students' overall development.
Experience in International/Cambridge/CBSE/ICSE schools.
Experience with inquiry-based and student-centred teaching.
Good knowledge of educational technology and digital teaching resources.
