Job Responsibilities – TGT Social Science

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in Social Science as per the CBSE curriculum.
• Teach subjects including History, Geography, Political Science, Economics, and Civics at the middle-school level.
• Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, question papers, and other teaching-learning materials.
• Use innovative teaching methodologies, activities, discussions, projects, and digital resources to make learning interactive.
• Assess student performance through class tests, examinations, projects, and continuous evaluation.
• Identify students requiring additional academic support and provide appropriate guidance.
• Maintain discipline and create a positive, inclusive, and participative classroom environment.
• Encourage critical thinking, awareness of current affairs, and understanding of social and civic responsibilities.
• Participate in parent-teacher meetings and provide constructive feedback on student progress.
• Maintain academic records, assessment data, and other documentation as required by the school.
• Participate actively in school events, assemblies, competitions, excursions, and co-curricular activities.
• Collaborate with colleagues and the academic coordinator for curriculum planning and effective implementation.
• Stay updated with CBSE guidelines, curriculum changes, and modern teaching practices.
