Job Description – TGT Mathematics Teacher
Position: TGT Mathematics Teacher
Classes: 6–10
Department: Academics
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons for Classes 6–10.
- Explain mathematical concepts clearly using appropriate teaching methods and activities.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and assessments.
- Assess students’ learning and provide regular feedback.
- Identify students who need additional support and provide appropriate guidance.
- Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive learning environment.
- Encourage logical thinking, problem-solving, and practical application of Mathematics.
- Maintain student records, assessment data, and academic documentation.
- Participate in school events, meetings, training programs, and other academic activities.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding students’ academic progress when required.
Eligibility & Skills
- Qualification: B.Ed. with a relevant degree in Mathematics.
- Experience: 2–4 years of teaching experience preferred.
- Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to use technology and digital tools for teaching.
- Passionate about teaching and supporting students’ overall development.
