Lab Assistant Chemistry

MINTO CIRCLE ENGLISH MEDIUM HIGH SCHOOL, located in the heart of Srinagar, is currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Lab Assistant for our Chemistry department. Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and organize the chemistry laboratory, ensuring all equipment and chemicals are stored safely.
• Assist teachers in preparing materials and apparatus for practical experiments and demonstrations.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and laboratory cleanliness standards at all times.
• Manage inventory records and coordinate the procurement of necessary laboratory supplies.
• Support students during practical sessions to ensure a safe and productive learning experience.

Qualification & Experience

• Candidates must hold a Master’s Degree in Chemistry or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a school or academic laboratory setting is required.

Requirements

• Professional certifications including B.Ed, M.Ed, B.Lib, or M.Lib are highly preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and a proactive approach to laboratory management.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with faculty.
