Key Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group counselling to students facing academic, emotional, social or behavioural challenges.

• Help students develop self-confidence, positive relationships and effective coping skills.

• Identify students who may need additional emotional, behavioural or learning support.

• Conduct sessions on mental health awareness, life skills, stress management and personal development.

• Guide students in addressing peer pressure, examination stress and other school-related concerns.

• Coordinate with teachers, parents and school management to support students' overall well-being.

• Maintain confidential counselling records and monitor student progress.

• Create a safe, supportive and non-judgmental environment where students feel comfortable sharing their concerns.

Qualifications & Skills

• Master's degree in Psychology, Counselling Psychology or a relevant discipline is preferred.

• Professional training or certification in counselling will be an advantage.

• Strong listening, communication, empathy and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to handle sensitive student concerns with care and confidentiality.

• Previous experience in school counselling or working with children and adolescents will be preferred.
