Key Responsibilities

• Teach dance techniques, movements and choreography to students across different age groups.

• Conduct engaging dance classes covering relevant styles such as classical, folk, contemporary or other dance forms.

• Prepare students for cultural programmes, annual functions, competitions and school celebrations.

• Develop students' rhythm, coordination, creativity, confidence and stage presence.

• Plan age-appropriate dance lessons and practice sessions.

• Encourage participation and support students in developing their individual talents.

• Coordinate with teachers and school management for performances and extracurricular activities.

• Maintain a safe and positive environment during dance classes and rehearsals.

Qualifications & Skills

• Degree, diploma or recognised certification in Dance or a relevant performing arts discipline.

• Proficiency in one or more dance forms.

• Strong choreography, performance and teaching abilities.

• Good communication and student-management skills.

• Previous experience as a Dance Teacher in a school or educational institution will be preferred.
