• Assist teachers in conducting practical sessions and laboratory activities.
• Prepare laboratory equipment, materials and apparatus before practical classes.
• Maintain lab registers, stock records and equipment inventories.
• Ensure cleanliness, organisation and proper maintenance of the laboratory.
• Follow safety procedures and guide students in the responsible use of lab equipment.
• Report damaged equipment, shortages and maintenance requirements to the concerned authorities.
• Support teachers during science experiments and practical demonstrations.
• Graduate in Science or a relevant discipline is preferred, depending on the laboratory assigned.
• Basic knowledge of laboratory equipment, materials and safety procedures.
• Good organisational and record-keeping skills.
• Ability to assist teachers and manage laboratory resources responsibly.
• Previous experience as a Lab Assistant in a school or educational institution will be an advantage.
