Key Responsibilities

• Identify students who require additional learning support and understand their individual educational needs.

• Develop and implement Individualised Education Plans (IEPs) according to students' abilities and learning requirements.

• Use inclusive and specialised teaching strategies to support diverse learners.

• Help students improve their academic, communication, social and life skills.

• Monitor student progress and maintain individual assessment records.

• Coordinate with parents, classroom teachers and school management to ensure effective support.

• Create a safe, supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Eligibility & Professional Skills

• Relevant qualification in Special Education, such as B.Ed. Special Education or an equivalent recognised qualification.

• Valid RCI registration, wherever applicable for the role.

• Understanding of inclusive education and different learning needs.

• Strong communication, observation and student-handling skills.

• Previous experience as a Special Educator in a school will be preferred.
