Key Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group counselling to students on academic, emotional and behavioural concerns.

• Help students manage stress, anxiety, peer relationships and personal challenges.

• Identify students who may require additional emotional or behavioural support.

• Conduct counselling sessions and age-appropriate awareness activities.

• Guide students in developing confidence, positive behaviour and social skills.

• Coordinate with teachers and parents to address students' developmental needs.

• Maintain confidential counselling records and monitor student progress.

• Support the school in promoting a safe, inclusive and positive learning environment.

• Refer students to specialised professionals when additional support is required.

Qualifications & Skills

• Master's degree in Psychology, Counselling Psychology or a relevant discipline.

• Relevant training or qualification in school counselling will be preferred.

• Strong listening, communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to handle student concerns with empathy, patience and confidentiality.

• Knowledge of child development, adolescent behaviour and counselling techniques.

• Previous experience in school counselling or a similar educational setting will be an advantage.
