Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist teachers in preparing and conducting science practical sessions and experiments.

• Arrange laboratory apparatus, equipment, chemicals, and other materials.

• Ensure safe handling, storage, and maintenance of laboratory resources.

• Maintain stock registers, inventory records, and laboratory documentation.

• Guide students in following laboratory safety rules during practical activities.

• Keep the laboratory clean, organised, and ready for scheduled classes.

• Identify damaged equipment and report repair or replacement requirements.

Candidate Requirements

• Graduate or diploma qualification in Science or a relevant discipline.

• Basic understanding of laboratory equipment and safety procedures.

• Good organisational and record-keeping abilities.

• Responsible attitude and ability to assist teachers and students.

• Basic computer knowledge will be an advantage.

• Previous experience in a school or educational laboratory will be preferred.
