Major Responsibilities

• Assist subject teachers in preparing and conducting laboratory practical sessions.

• Arrange apparatus, chemicals, equipment, and other materials required for experiments.

• Ensure proper handling, storage, and maintenance of laboratory equipment.

• Maintain laboratory stock registers, usage records, and inventory.

• Monitor safety practices and ensure students follow laboratory guidelines.

• Keep the laboratory clean, organised, and ready for practical classes.

• Report damaged equipment, shortages, or maintenance requirements to the concerned authority.

Qualifications & Competencies

• Graduate or diploma qualification in Science or a relevant subject.

• Basic understanding of laboratory equipment and safety procedures.

• Good organisational and record-maintenance skills.

• Responsible attitude and ability to assist teachers and students.

• Previous experience in a school laboratory will be an added advantage.
