Work Responsibilities

• Assist teachers in conducting practical sessions and laboratory activities.

• Prepare laboratory equipment, apparatus, and materials before experiments.

• Maintain laboratory registers, stock records, and equipment inventories.

• Ensure proper storage and handling of chemicals, instruments, and other resources.

• Follow laboratory safety procedures and maintain cleanliness.

• Report damaged equipment and arrange timely replenishment of supplies.

• Help students use laboratory equipment safely under teacher supervision.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate or relevant technical qualification in Science or a related field.

• Basic knowledge of laboratory equipment and practical procedures.

• Computer skills for maintaining records and inventory.

• Responsible approach to safety, cleanliness, and organization.

• Good coordination and communication skills.

• Previous experience as a school laboratory assistant will be preferred.
