Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist teachers and students during practical sessions and laboratory activities.

• Arrange and maintain laboratory equipment, apparatus, and materials.

• Prepare laboratory setups as instructed by subject teachers.

• Ensure proper storage and handling of chemicals, tools, and equipment, wherever applicable.

• Maintain stock registers, issue records, and other laboratory documentation.

• Follow laboratory safety procedures and keep the workspace clean and organised.

• Report damaged equipment, shortages, or maintenance requirements to the concerned authority.

Eligibility & Desired Skills

• Graduate or relevant qualification in Science or a related field is preferred.

• Basic knowledge of laboratory equipment and practical procedures.

• Prior experience as a Lab Assistant will be an added advantage.

• Good organisational, record-keeping, and communication skills.

• Responsible attitude with attention to safety and cleanliness.
