Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide first aid and immediate care to students and staff in case of minor injuries or illness.

• Monitor students who feel unwell during school hours and arrange medical assistance when required.

• Maintain accurate records of medical incidents, treatments, and student health information.

• Administer prescribed medication in accordance with school policies and medical instructions.

• Coordinate with parents, teachers, and healthcare professionals regarding student health concerns.

• Support health awareness programmes and promote hygiene and preventive healthcare practices.

• Ensure that the school's first-aid supplies and medical room are properly maintained.

Qualifications & Professional Requirements

• Recognised nursing qualification such as ANM, GNM, or B.Sc. Nursing, as applicable to the position.

• Valid nursing registration with the relevant nursing council, wherever required.

• Knowledge of first aid, basic healthcare, and emergency response procedures.

• Caring attitude, patience, and effective communication skills.

• Ability to handle student health concerns responsibly and maintain confidentiality.

• Previous experience in a school, clinic, or healthcare setting will be preferred.
