Roles & Responsibilities

• Identify students who require additional learning support and understand their individual educational needs.

• Develop and implement Individualised Education Plans (IEPs), wherever required.

• Adapt teaching methods and learning materials to suit different abilities and learning styles.

• Provide individual and small-group support to students.

• Monitor students' academic, behavioural, social, and developmental progress.

• Work closely with regular teachers, parents, and school management to ensure effective support.

• Promote an inclusive, safe, and supportive classroom environment.

Qualifications & Professional Skills

• Relevant qualification in Special Education, such as B.Ed. Special Education or an equivalent recognised qualification.

• Valid RCI registration, wherever applicable under relevant norms.

• Knowledge of inclusive teaching practices and learning support strategies.

• Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills.

• Ability to prepare learning plans and maintain student progress records.

• Previous experience as a Special Educator in a school will be preferred.
