Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist teachers in conducting practical activities and laboratory experiments.

• Prepare and arrange laboratory equipment, apparatus, and materials before practical sessions.

• Maintain proper records of laboratory stock, equipment, and consumables.

• Ensure cleanliness, organisation, and proper maintenance of the laboratory.

• Follow laboratory safety procedures and guide students in handling equipment responsibly.

• Report damaged equipment or shortages of laboratory supplies to the concerned authority.

Required Qualifications & Competencies

• Graduate or diploma qualification in Science or a relevant subject is preferred.

• Basic knowledge of laboratory equipment, materials, and safety practices.

• Ability to assist teachers during practical classes.

• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.

• Prior experience as a school Lab Assistant will be an advantage.
