POST GRADUATE TEACHER (PGT) – SENIOR SECONDARY EDUCATION

TEACHING & ACADEMIC DUTIES:

• Deliver subject-specific lessons to senior secondary students as per the CBSE curriculum.

• Prepare lesson plans, assignments, presentations, and relevant study materials.

• Explain advanced topics using effective and student-centred teaching methods.

• Conduct regular assessments, class tests, and revision sessions.

• Prepare students for board examinations through structured academic guidance.

• Evaluate answer scripts and maintain accurate performance records.

• Identify learning gaps and provide additional academic support where required.

• Participate in departmental meetings, parent-teacher interactions, and school activities.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Master's degree in the relevant subject from a recognised university.

• B.Ed. qualification preferred, as applicable to the recruitment requirements.

• Strong understanding of the CBSE senior secondary syllabus and examination pattern.

• Excellent subject knowledge, communication, and classroom management skills.

• Ability to motivate students and support their academic progress.

• Previous experience teaching Classes XI and XII will be preferred.
