NURSERY TEACHER (NTT) – EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION

Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 2 (CBSE), Visakhapatnam, is inviting applications from caring, creative, and enthusiastic Nursery Teachers to support the early learning and overall development of young children.

TEACHING & CARE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct engaging classroom activities through play-based and activity-oriented learning.

• Introduce children to basic concepts, numbers, letters, colours, shapes, and vocabulary.

• Develop students' communication, social, motor, and early learning skills.

• Prepare age-appropriate lesson plans, worksheets, stories, and creative activities.

• Maintain a safe, hygienic, and welcoming classroom environment.

• Encourage good habits, discipline, sharing, and positive behaviour.

• Observe children's progress and maintain regular developmental records.

• Communicate with parents regarding children's learning and overall development.

QUALIFICATIONS & PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES:

• Senior Secondary or Graduation with a recognised Nursery Teacher Training (NTT), ECCE, or equivalent qualification, as applicable.

• Understanding of early childhood education and child-centred teaching methods.

• Good communication skills and a caring attitude towards young learners.

• Creativity, patience, and effective classroom management abilities.

• Ability to organise storytelling, art, music, and play-based activities.

• Previous nursery or pre-primary teaching experience will be preferred.
