SPECIAL EDUCATOR – INCLUSIVE LEARNING & STUDENT SUPPORT

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Identify students who require additional learning support and assess their educational needs.

• Develop Individualised Education Plans (IEPs) based on students' abilities and learning goals.

• Adapt teaching strategies and learning materials to suit individual requirements.

• Provide one-to-one and small-group instructional support.

• Work closely with subject teachers to implement inclusive classroom practices.

• Monitor students' academic, social, emotional, and behavioural progress.

• Maintain confidential student assessment reports and progress records.

• Coordinate with parents, teachers, and specialists to support students' development.

QUALIFICATIONS & PROFESSIONAL SKILLS:

• Relevant qualification in Special Education, such as B.Ed. Special Education or an equivalent recognised qualification.

• Valid RCI registration, where applicable.

• Understanding of diverse learning needs and inclusive teaching methodologies.

• Skills in preparing individual learning plans and conducting student assessments.

• Patience, empathy, and strong communication abilities.

• Previous experience in a school or special education setting will be preferred.
