Job Overview:
The Imperial School is looking for a dedicated, compassionate, and qualified School Counsellor to join our academic and student support team. The ideal candidate will guide students through academic, emotional, and social development, fostering a positive, safe, and inclusive school environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide individual and group counseling to students to support their emotional and psychological well-being.
• Assist students with academic planning, career guidance, and goal setting.
• Identify behavioral, social, or learning challenges early and implement appropriate intervention strategies.
• Conduct workshops and sessions for students, parents, and teachers on mental health, stress management, and adolescent issues.
• Maintain confidential student records and progress reports in compliance with school policies.
• Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and school administration to address student concerns effectively.
• Promote a positive school culture and support anti-bullying and positive discipline initiatives.

Requirements & Qualifications:
• Master's Degree in Psychology, Counselling, Child Development, or a related field from a recognized university.
• Professional certification or diploma in School Counselling/Guidance (preferred).
• Prior experience working as a Counsellor in a recognized CBSE-affiliated school.
• Strong empathy, active listening, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion, professionalism, and care.
