Key Responsibilities

Provide individual and group counselling sessions to students.

Help students manage academic stress, behavioural concerns, and personal challenges.

Identify students who may require additional emotional or learning support.

Guide students in developing confidence, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Conduct awareness sessions on mental health, safety, and well-being.

Coordinate with parents, teachers, and school management when required.

Maintain confidential counselling records and progress reports.

Refer students to qualified external professionals when necessary.

Qualifications & Competencies

Master's degree in Psychology, Counselling Psychology, or a relevant field preferred.

Professional counselling qualification or relevant certification desirable.

Understanding of child and adolescent development.

Strong listening, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to handle sensitive student concerns with empathy and confidentiality.

Previous experience in a school or educational counselling environment preferred.
