About the Role
Narayana School is looking for a caring, energetic, and patient Play School Teacher to join its early childhood education team. The candidate will be responsible for the overall care, learning, and development of young children in a safe, joyful, and stimulating environment.

Key Responsibilities
• Plan and conduct age-appropriate play-based learning activities for play school children.
• Teach basic concepts through rhymes, stories, games, music, and creative activities.
• Develop social, emotional, cognitive, and motor skills in young children.
• Create a safe, clean, and child-friendly classroom environment.
• Maintain daily attendance, observation notes, and progress records of children.
• Prepare teaching aids, activity materials, and worksheets.
• Ensure the safety, hygiene, and well-being of children at all times.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding children’s progress and behavior.
• Organize and participate in school events, celebrations, and parent meetings.
• Follow the school’s early childhood curriculum and guidelines.

Required Qualifications & Skills
• NTT / Diploma in Nursery Teacher Training / D.El.Ed. / Montessori training preferred.
• Graduation in any discipline.
• Prior experience in teaching play school or pre-primary children will be an advantage.
• Loving, patient, and child-friendly personality.
• Good communication skills in English and Hindi/Bengali.
• Creativity and ability to engage young children effectively.
• Basic understanding of child psychology and early childhood education methods.
