About the Role
Vidhya International School is looking for a talented and energetic Dance Teacher to join its academic team. The candidate will be responsible for teaching various dance forms, developing students’ rhythm and coordination, and preparing them for school events and competitions.

Key Responsibilities
• Teach different dance forms (Classical, Folk, Western, or Contemporary) as per the school’s requirements.
• Plan and conduct regular dance classes for students of different age groups.
• Prepare students for annual day, cultural events, competitions, and special performances.
• Choreograph dances for school functions and celebrations.
• Maintain discipline and ensure safety of students during practice sessions.
• Encourage creativity, confidence, and stage presence among students.
• Maintain attendance and performance records of students.
• Coordinate with other teachers and school management for cultural programs.
• Create a positive, energetic, and inclusive learning environment.
• Take care of dance costumes, props, and practice materials.

Required Qualifications & Skills
• Diploma / Degree in Dance or equivalent qualification from a recognized institute.
• Specialization in Classical, Folk, or Western dance forms preferred.
• Prior experience as a Dance Teacher in a school will be an advantage.
• Strong choreography and performance skills.
• Good communication and classroom management skills.
• Energetic, creative, and student-friendly personality.
• Ability to handle students of different age groups.
• Passion for teaching and performing arts.
