About the Role
Global Public School is looking for an energetic and creative Activity Teacher to plan and conduct co-curricular and extracurricular activities for students. The candidate will play an important role in the overall development of students by organizing engaging activities beyond regular academics.
Key Responsibilities
• Plan, organize, and conduct various activities such as art & craft, music, dance, games, yoga, and other co-curricular programs.
• Design age-appropriate activity schedules for different classes.
• Encourage student participation and creativity through indoor and outdoor activities.
• Maintain discipline and ensure safety of students during activity sessions.
• Prepare activity plans, materials, and required resources in advance.
• Coordinate with class teachers and school management for smooth conduct of events and celebrations.
• Help students prepare for competitions, annual day, and special school events.
• Maintain records of student participation and performance in activities.
• Create a positive, fun, and inclusive learning environment.
• Support the overall holistic development of students.
Required Qualifications & Skills
• Graduate in any discipline (preferably with specialization in Arts, Music, Physical Education, or related field).
• Diploma / Certificate in Art & Craft, Music, Dance, or Activity-based teaching will be an advantage.
• Prior experience as an Activity Teacher or in co-curricular coordination preferred.
• Creative, energetic, and student-friendly personality.
• Good communication and classroom management skills.
• Ability to handle students of different age groups.
