Hostel Warden

St Marys Public School is seeking a responsible, disciplined, and caring Hostel Warden to supervise hostel operations and ensure a safe, comfortable, and well-organized residential environment for students in South Delhi. The ideal candidate should have strong administrative and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to guide and support students in their daily routines.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise the daily functioning of the school hostel and ensure proper discipline among residents.

• Monitor students' daily routines, including study hours, meals, recreation, rest, and personal hygiene.

• Ensure the safety, security, and well-being of all hostel students.

• Maintain attendance registers, visitor records, leave records, and other hostel documentation.

• Address students' concerns and provide guidance and emotional support when required.

• Coordinate with teachers, parents, school administrators, and hostel support staff.

• Monitor hostel cleanliness, sanitation, maintenance, and food arrangements.

• Ensure students follow hostel rules and maintain a respectful residential environment.

• Respond promptly to emergencies and coordinate appropriate medical assistance when necessary.

• Organize recreational activities and supervised study sessions to support students' overall development.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in any relevant discipline.

• Previous experience in hostel administration, student supervision, or residential school management will be preferred.

• Good communication, leadership, and organizational abilities.

• Ability to manage student discipline with patience, fairness, and care.

• Understanding of child safety, student welfare, and residential supervision practices.

• Basic knowledge of first aid and emergency response procedures.

• Responsible, approachable, and capable of handling administrative duties.
