Dance Teacher

SNS Academy is looking for a creative, enthusiastic, and skilled Dance Teacher to join its academic team in Coimbatore. The ideal candidate should have a passion for performing arts and the ability to develop students' creativity, rhythm, coordination, and confidence through structured dance training.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct dance classes for students across different age groups and skill levels.

• Teach various dance forms, techniques, movements, and choreography according to students' abilities.

• Prepare students for annual functions, cultural programmes, competitions, and special school events.

• Develop engaging dance routines that encourage creativity, expression, and teamwork.

• Help students improve rhythm, coordination, flexibility, posture, and stage confidence.

• Plan and organize regular practice sessions and monitor students' progress.

• Maintain discipline and ensure a safe and encouraging environment during dance activities.

• Coordinate with other teachers and school staff for cultural events and extracurricular programmes.

Qualifications & Skills

• Relevant degree, diploma, or professional certification in Dance or Performing Arts.

• Strong knowledge of one or more dance forms, such as classical, folk, contemporary, or western dance.

• Previous experience teaching dance, preferably in a school or educational institution.

• Ability to choreograph performances and train students for stage presentations.

• Good communication, creativity, patience, and classroom management skills.

• Knowledge of age-appropriate dance techniques and safety practices.
